Providing Feedback

Good feedback is:
  • Specific: Point to exact issues
  • Actionable: Explain what needs to change
  • Constructive: Focus on improvement
  • Timely: Don’t delay reviews

Example Feedback

Good: "The executive summary needs a risk prioritization matrix showing
critical vs high vs medium findings with business impact."

Not helpful: "The report needs more detail."

Approval Best Practices

Review thoroughly before approving
Verify all requirements are met
Test any technical deliverables
Don’t approve just to meet deadlines
