Guidelines for experts and clients when discussing FlexDuty work on social media.

General Principles

Protect client confidentiality always
Be professional in all public statements
Disclose your relationship with FlexDuty when relevant
Do not share proprietary information

What You CAN Share

  • That you work with FlexDuty (as a platform)
  • General expertise areas
  • Industry insights (without client specifics)
  • Your professional certifications
  • FlexDuty blog posts and public content

What You CANNOT Share

Never share:
  • Client names without permission
  • Project details or findings
  • Screenshots of work
  • Confidential communications
  • Negative comments about specific clients
  • Internal platform information

Client Permission

To share project details publicly:
  1. Complete the project
  2. Request written permission from client
  3. Anonymize sensitive details
  4. Have client approve the final content

Platform Mentions

When mentioning FlexDuty:
  • Use accurate information
  • Don’t claim to represent FlexDuty officially
  • Tag @FlexDuty if you want us to see/share

Acceptable Posts

✅ “Excited to be part of the FlexDuty expert community! #cybersecurity #infosec” ✅ “Just completed another great security assessment through FlexDuty. Love working with clients who take security seriously.”

Unacceptable Posts

❌ “Just found 50 critical vulnerabilities in [Company Name]‘s systems through FlexDuty!” ❌ “My FlexDuty client [Company] has the worst security I’ve ever seen” ❌ Posting screenshots of vulnerability reports

Consequences

Violations may result in:
  • Warning
  • Account review
  • Contract termination
  • Legal action (for serious breaches)
